Everything you need to know about international cargo insurance.
Cargo insurance protects the full value of your goods against risks such as theft, damage or loss during land, sea or air transport, both on domestic and international shipments.
Not completely. Carrier liability is usually limited and, in many cases, does not cover the full value of the cargo. Cargo insurance complements this protection and prevents significant financial losses.
Once registered, a client access account is created for you. This gives you 24/7 access to the management platform where you can quote, insure and pay online whenever you need.
Yes, you can insure a single shipment. We offer flexible solutions that adapt to both one-off operations and regular import and export flows.

Yes. We provide coverage for both import and export operations, including shipments related to international trade.
Commercial invoice, bill of lading (B/L) or airway bill (AWB), packing list, and the CIF value of the goods. The entire process is 100% online.
Notify us within 3 business days of discovering the damage, keep the original packaging, photograph the damage, and request a Damage Certificate from the carrier. Our 24/7 assistance team will guide you through every step.
Yes, for up to 60 days in authorised customs facilities — particularly useful for imports requiring customs clearance at major ports.
Yes. The platform centralises all your policies, insurance certificates, and claims in one dashboard with 24/7 access and exportable reports.
A policy that covers the financial losses caused by delays in air or ocean cargo. Unlike traditional cargo insurance, it does not cover physical damage but the economic impact of the delay: business interruption, additional freight expenses, SLA penalties and commodity price volatility.
Traditional cargo insurance protects against damage, loss and theft, but explicitly excludes delays. Delay is a complementary product that covers exactly that gap. It can also be purchased as a Cargo+Delay bundle in a single booking.
Maritime: 6, 8 or 10 days. Air: 6, 12 or 24 hours. When the Actual Time of Arrival (ATA) exceeds the chosen trigger, the policy is activated automatically. Pay-out structure: 50% on the trigger date, plus 5% per additional day (maritime) or per 6 additional hours (air), up to 100% of the coverage limit.
In LatAm the coverage limit ranges from USD $1,000 to USD $100,000 per shipment. Choose the limit based on the economic impact you expect from a delay: contractual penalties, spoilage risk for perishables, or a percentage of the CIF value of the goods.
Detection is fully automated through independent tracking APIs (Vizion, FlightAware and carrier tracking systems). You don't have to file a claim or justify a loss. Resolution happens within 72 hours of the ATA being confirmed, and payment is issued within 7 to 14 days.
Maritime: Bill of Lading (B/L) or Container ID plus the 4-digit carrier code. Air: Master Air Waybill (MAWB) or flight number. You can also request an instant quote by route by selecting the origin and destination port or airport.
